COMMUNITY PRAYER GROUP
ON DECEMBER 30TH THERE WAS A GATHERING OF CHURCHES IN OUR SANCTUARY FOR THE PURPOSE OF PRAYER. THIS WAS FACILITATED BY PASTOR KEITH KAUFOLD OF EIGHTH AVENUE PLACE AND OUR OWN PASTOR CHUCK. THE OUTPOURING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT WAS AWESOME AND ALL PEOPLE AND CHURCHES IN ATTENDANCE WERE BLESSED. THIS IS TO BE AN ONGOING EVENT. WE WILL MEET AGAIN ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24TH AT 7:00 PM AT ANNE ASHLEY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH. WE WILL PRAY FOR OUR CHURCHES AND COMMUNITIES.

As a PRAYER TEAM, our first and most important assignment is to lift up Pastor Chuck. We pray for God’s protection and anointing. We then seek the Lord on behalf of this church body. We long to reach God’s ear and touch God’s heart as He leads us in each time of prayer. God releases much power because of the prayers of His church.
Sunday 7:15 AM We gather with Pastor Chuck to pray for him and then lift the worship services up to the Lord so that the Holy Spirit will move and change us, growing us closer to Him.
Monday 11:00 AM A small group gathers to pray for Pastor Chuck and lift up the individual needs of the church body. These are the prayer requests that are placed in the “white box” in the Narthex. God longs to be the source of all our needs.
Wednesday 6:00 PM We gather to pray for Pastor Chuck and interceded for the church leadership, ministries, teachings, buildings and grounds, for God’s will and a Spirit of wisdom and unity.
Fourth Monday of Each Month 6:30 PM We gather 30 minutes before each church council meeting to pray for Pastor Chuck and to ask the Holy Spirit to preside and govern our leadership body.
Healing/Prayer Services It is our hope to hold 3-4 services per year where God’s word is brought forth and then the altar is open for those whose want be touched by the Holy Spirit.
Special times of intercession as needed We believe it is important to pray for special services such as Christmas and Easter, lifting up Pastor Chuck and praying for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit at these most precious times
