HPUMC offers a variety of ways for children to be engaged with Jesus.
On Sunday Mornings we offer two children programs. We hope that you can come and be a part of this fun filled time. Sunday School begins at 9:30. The children enter as a large group where they learn songs and hear a Bible story. They then proceed into their individual classrooms. The children make crafts, have snacks, and learn about JESUS!!
At 11:00 we start in the “big church” where Pastor Chuck presents a children sermon. The children get a taste of worship with the rest of the congregation. Then they head off for some Children fun. The kids have a puppet show, songs, a Bible lesson, and more. Come and check out this exciting time!
Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:00 is a fun-filled hour. We get to hang out in a laid back setting. The kids get to see a skit that portrays the lesson. They sing together and then it is off for some station rotations. The kids rotate through three stations: crafts, snacks, and games. Each station re-emphasizes the Bible story.
We also have a nursery program offered on Sun Mornings offered at 9:30 and 11:00. We provide a safe and comfortable spot for young children 0-3. Our nursery is staffed by trained adults. These adults have CPR/first aid training. You are never out of reach from your little one as we provide a pager system so if you are needed you will be paged.
